S.V.C. does not have to wait for coverage verification in order to issue payments. What are the procedures in order to report a claim? Call immediately to South Valley Claims on all first reports of claims. In California, Section 2695.5 of the Fair Claims Settlement Practices Regulation requires this. Please gather as much information as possible from the insured and call (800) 877-2525, and ask to speak to a claims adjuster. If little or no information is available other than the occurrence of loss, please do not wait to contact us with any information learned. Once you have reported the loss, refer all involved parties to South Valley Claims. Please do not try to answer any claim questions, or advise an insured or claimant regarding procedures.
